Founder and President - Dr. Chuck Dietzen

While Chuck Dietzen was growing up in Kokomo, Indiana, 156 foster children came through his family's home. It was then that it became apparent to his mother, who encouraged him to become a pediatrician, that he indeed had a special gift with children. He has spent his life using his gifts to help children around the world.

Dr. Chuck earned his Bachelors Degree in Agriculture from Purdue University and his Medical Degree from Indiana University. He is a Pediatric Rehabilitation Specialist and currently practices at Crossroads Easter Seals and St. Frances Hospital in Indianapolis. While he receives no salary from the Foundation, he devotes countless hours to speaking engagements, meetings, service trips and fundraisers for the Foundation.

In 1996 and 1997, Dr. Chuck traveled to India on orthopedic missions and had the chance to meet Mother Teresa. Inspired to make a deeper commitment to assisting medically-underserved children by these experiences, Dr. Chuck began the Timmy Foundation in 1997. His work with the Timmy Foundation has taken him to countries such as Ecuador, Guatemala, Nigeria, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic. He has also traveled to Albania, Cuba, Kenya, Honduras, Bolivia, El Salvador, the Ukraine, and Brazil.

Key Volunteers
As a staff of 3 at the Timmy Foundation, we could not function on a day-to-day basis without the support of our volunteers. Thanks to them, we have been able to expand our mission and grow in amazing ways.
