Students for Global Health Equity
College students, through our chapters, are partnered with our International Partner Organizations (IPOs). Through these chapters young adults are empowered to:

ADVOCATE on behalf of the poor. College chapters raise awareness for the issues causing poverty and that they highlight these issues through their activities.

FUNDRAISE for their IPO. Financial support from the college chapters enables IPOs to accomplish more work in their countries and communities.

SERVE in the country where their IPO works through medical brigades. The teams consists of the students, their academic advisor, and medical professionals. Timmy Foundation collegiate members are encouraged to do local service in addition to their international service trip.

Future Chapters
If you are thinking about starting a Timmy Foundation chapter at your university, you may want to consider:

  • If there is already a campus group working on int'l health issues
  • Finding other students and faculty members who share your vision

Although new Timmy Chapters are currently being waitlisted, we are still accepting applications! For more information on starting a Timmy Chapter at your college, contact Chris Trani at chris@timmyfoundation.org.
